NFL-The pomp and circumstance of his arrival faded into the night after a 17-13 victory over the Chiefs, leaving Favre with the reality of the challenge before him. NBA-Iverson, a certain Hall of Famer coming off a $20 million-a-year salary who can't find an NBA job, has been waxing poetic about his comeback via Twitter updates. We call it a comeback because, well, Iverson does -- and also because he was for all intents and purposes retired down the stretch of a miserable stint with the Pistons last year.

NCAA BasketBall- The 2010 Final Four is in Big Ten country. The league has worthy contenders for a trip to Indianapolis, while others are just looking to get over the hump and into the Big Dance. Denis Clemente's H-O-R-S-E shot becomes internet sensation. It's been viewed more than 40,000 times on YouTube.

GOLF-Playing a hand in separate matches Friday at the Solheim Cup, Paula Creamer helped Juli Inkster make history and secure two points to lift the U.S. to a 4½-3½ lead.
