NFL - Todays the "PRO BOWL" - AWOL McKinnie dismissed from NFC Pro Bowl team. Since the rosters for Sunday's game in Miami were first announced, more than a dozen players have been scratched. Next Sunday - "SUPER BOWL XLIV" is not a classic in the making. Peyton Manning's precise passing, the Colts' undervalued running game and an effective defense will lead to an Indy romp over the Saints. Donald Brown and Joseph Addai run well when asked.

NCAA FOOTBALL - Senior Bowl yesterday - Mardy Gilyard’s big plays outshine Tebow in Senior Bowl The former Cincinnati star turned in an awfully strong audition for a much more lucrative career in Saturday’s Senior Bowl, racking up 103 yards receiving and catching a 32-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to help the North race to a 31-13 victory over the South. TeBow fumbled twice and finished 8 of 12 passing for 50 yards in the showcase for senior NFL prospects.
Alabama players accounted for all of the South’s points. Robinson hit tight end Colin Peek for a 19-yard touchdown and Leigh Tiffin booted field goals of 43 and 33 yards.
