PLAYOFFS TODAY - The CAVALIERS @ The CELTICS, Cavs lead Series 2-1 at 3:30 PM ET and The SUNS @ The SPURS, Spurs lead the Series 3-0 at 8 PM ET.



NHL PLAYOFFS - The Sharks put the "choker" label in the past by eliminating the Red Wings and advancing to the West final. Fleury helps Pens take 3-2 lead. Blackhawks try to close out Canucks in 5. Bruins look to eliminate Flyers at home.

Phil Mickelson fired a 66 on Saturday at The Players Championship to put himself in a position to claim the No. 1 spot. Slocum gets to 15 under, then fades.

MMA & BOXING - Two years ago, Mauricio "Shogun" Rua was all but written off. Now he is the UFC's new light heavyweight champion. Rua knocked out Machida to win light heavyweight title in their heavily hyped rematch Saturday in front of 17,647 boisterous fans at the Bell Centre, ending the controversy that began after their first fight in October. There was irony in Josh Koscheck’s UFC 113 win over Paul Daley on Saturday night at the Bell Centre, one that set up Koscheck for a title shot and cost Daley his job.

BOXING - Paul Williams earned a bizarre win Saturday when Kermit Cintron tumbled through the ropes and landed on a ringside table. The 154-pound bout ended with Cintron strapped to a stretcher and wearing a neck brace, although he wanted to keep fighting. Antonio Margarito won a unanimous decision over Roberto Garcia on Saturday in his first fight in more than 15 months following a one-year suspension.

SOCCER - MLS - Dynamo get first road win, 2-0 over Chivas. Johnson helps Earthquakes beat Red Bulls 4-0. Cunningham's score in 68th minute lifts FC. Rogers' late goal lifts Crew past Revolution. WORLD CUP - CAPE TOWN, South Africa -- South Africa's police commissioner said Friday his job will be made easier if the United States is knocked out of the World Cup in the first round, avoiding the massive security challenge of a visit by
President Barack Obama.
