NASCAR - Forget the talk about a "new" Kyle Busch. The old one was out in full force this weekend at Dover. All the preseason hype was about Jimmie Johnson's drive for a fifth straight Cup championship. But this title fight could come down to young guns Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin. Rick Hendrick says fellow Sprint Cup owner Joe Gibbs has done more than catch Hendrick Motorsports in performance this season. "Looks like he passed me," the owner of HMS said during Tuesday's grand opening of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. "He didn't [catch] me. He lapped me."

GOLF - Texas was a suitable stand-in for Australia as Adam Scott thrived in the familiar surroundings to nab a long-awaited win. Scott gets first PGA Tour win in 2 years. Vijay Singh is on the outside of the top 50 rankings for the first time
since 1992.

MMA & BOXING - UFC.comQuinton "Rampage" Jackson and Rashad Evans have waited more than a year to settle their beef.
BOXING - Rafael Marquez and Israel Vazquez have a chance at the honor again when they meet Saturday.

HORSE RACING - Made for Magic wins Milady Handicap, Weekend Fantasy wins Belmont feature. The New York Racing Association is running out of money and may have to shut down in less than three weeks, the day after the Belmont Stakes. One leading horseman described the situation as “catastrophic” and said that even Saratoga—the jewel of New York racing—could be threatened by the turmoil.
