OSCAR Results - The Hurt Locker has won for Best Picture. Best Director went to the favorite Kathryn Bigelow. Sandra Bullock won for Best Actress for her role in The Blind Side. Jeff Bridges won Best Actor for his role in Crazy Heart. Best Foreign Language Film going to El Secreto de Sus Ojos.Mo'Nique won for Best Supporting Actress. Best Original Screenplay went to The Hurt Locker. Up! was the favorite and won Best Animated Film. "Essentially, Waltz was a ‘lock' to win." To nobody's surprise, probably the biggest favorite of the night took home his Oscar and that would be Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds.




NBA - Kobe Bryant's miss let the Magic escape with a win and dropped L.A. to its first three-game losing streak in two years. Spurs G Parker could miss 6 weeks. Allen's late 3 caps Celtics' rally. Durant lifts Thunder to road win. Bosh returns but Young's 32 lift 76ers. Anthony scores 30 as Nuggets top Blazers. Bynum, Prince lift Pistons in OT.




NCAA HOOP's - Raymar Morgan and Michigan State claimed their share of the Big Ten crown with a 64-48 victory over rival Michigan on Sunday. Spartans win piece of Big Ten title. No. 3 Kentucky finishes 18-0 at home. Gonzaga holds on, reaches WCC finalm N. Iowa repeats as MVC tournament champs.



NHL - Michael Leighton made 27 saves as the Flyers rebounded from consecutive losses to beat the Maple Leafs 3-1. Wings score 5 in 2nd, top BlackhawksPens stay unbeaten since Olympics. Kaleta's goal snaps Sabres' road skid. Iginla's hat trick lifts Flames by Wild. Hansen, Canucks rally past Preds.Bruins' Savard suffers concussion on hit. Habs rally late, beat Ducks in SO. MLB - The Rockies love their situation. With a solid young core excelling under manager Jim Tracy, Colorado looks to take the next step. It's World Series or bust this year. After dumping Cy Young winners and All-Stars, the Indians are handing the keys to prospects such as Justin Masterson. The Orioles haven't closed a season above .500 in a long time. With Adam Jones and Nick Markakis leading a new nucleus, that might finally change this season.

POKER - The Elite Eight-Four former world champs remain out of the final eight at the Heads-Up Championship including Jerry Yang who made his second
cash since his WSOP win.
