Scores and Sports Info for 03/31/2010

NCAA - MARCH MADNESS - FINAL FOUR - Indy impactWVU's Kevin Jones will be among the key players at this weekend's Final Four. Bulldogs, not underdogs- Butler isn't a cute little upstart a la "Hoosiers." It's a force. Coach K-apableMike Krzyzewski and Duke reach Final Four and silence coach's critics. Enough with
the teasing already. We're ready for a Cinderella to finally crash the Final Four party, not just get a foot in the door. And it just so happens that the slipper fits Butler perfectly.

NBA - Suns win eighth straight, make playoffs. Thunder cruise by 76ers, near playoffs. Jennings helps Bucks clinch .500 finish. Rockets hand Wizards 16th
straight loss. Granger lifts Pacers, home streak at 8. Judge dismisses Wade memorabilia lawsuit. Nowitzki's triple-double powers Mavs. The key to the
Suns' current eight-game winning streak has been their ability to finish off opponents.

NHL - Tanner Glass and the Canucks refused to fall into the Coyotes' trap on Tuesday and won easily. Kovalev's OT goal lifts Sens. Sedin's 3 points sparks
Canucks. Bergeron gets Bruins by Devils 1-0. Thrashers win to eliminate Leafs. Kings' Bernier nets first shutout. Rangers rally to beat Isles. Wings win
despite blowing lead.

MLB - Chris Carpenter helped Adam Wainwright with his sinker last year. The pair of aces could lead the Cards to another crown. The ol' switcheroo- Switch
pitcher Pat Venditte threw with both arms in a spring outing for the Yanks. Likeable, unique and a rising star. With Pablo Sandoval -- aka Kung Fu Panda --
and hitting coach Hensley Meulens, the Giants have the tools to jumpstart their inert offense.

NFL - The Cards seem to be a non-option for now. However, don't be shocked if QB Donovan McNabb ultimately lands in the desert. Sam Bradford showed off his arm, possibly securing his standing as the draft's top pick. The team that gets Donovan McNabb has to hope he'll be like Fran Tarkenton or Y.A. Tittle and not Drew Bledsoe. The Bengals are determined to prove last season's division title was no fluke -- and to post back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 1982. It was strange to see the Bengals in the playoffs last season, but Cincy isn't satisfied. With a weapons upgrade in his receiving corps, Carson Palmer will prove he's still an elite passer.

NCAA FOOTBALL - If Darren Evans is healthy, offense will not be a concern at Virginia Tech for a change. But there's work to do on defense. Lane Kiffin takes
over a USC program that is awaiting to hear if it faces sanctions from the Reggie Bush scandal. How will Texas Tech look on offense? And D? Tommy Tuberville
has decisions to make, starting with the QB position.

NASCAR - Mover And Shaker-Jimmie Johnson held on to the top spot in Ryan McGee's Sprint Cup Power Rankings, but it's Denny Hamlin shaking things up after his miracle win at Martinsville.

GOLF - Shell Houston Open- Fresh from his third straight win on the Champions Tour, Fred Couples tees it up with the young guys this week. Bond Of Brothers-
The Masters was always a TV tradition in the Molinari home -- even though they lived in Italy. So how are Edoardo and Francesco Molinari going to handle
playing the year's first major together? Tiger's first drive? British bookies taking that action?

MMA & BOXING - UFC 111's results left fans buzzing about what will happen when Brock Lesnar steps in the cage with Shane Carwin. Five fights added to April's "Strikeforce:… BOXING - "King" Arthur Abraham lost a lot of respect among boxing fans after he dropped Andre Dirrell with a dirty.

SOCCER - MLS - Get out your parkas: The league announced Tuesday it will hold the MLS Cup in Toronto at BMO Field, which made the switch to grass this
season in November.

TENNIS - Tomas Berdych upset Roger Federer 6-4, 6-7 (3), 7-6 (6) in the fourth round of the Sony Ericsson Open, ending his streak of eight straight losses
against Federer.

HORSE RACING - The top two Kentucky Derby contenders likely will be running their final prep races Saturday—No. 1-rated Lookin At Lucky is all but set for
the Santa Anita Derby and No. 2 Eskendereya is the probable favorite for the Wood Memorial.
