Kaman, Camby help Clippers end road losing streak. The Kings will easily pass last season's win total, and the future could be even brighter. Rookie sensations Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi are the foundation.

NHL - In a penalty-filled game, Sergei Gonchar converts a power-play deflection with less than two minutes remaining to lead the Penguins past the rival Flyers 2-1 Sunday in Philly. Ward sets 'Canes' mark for wins by beating Bruins 1. Avalanche silence Stars for sixth straight victory.



MLB - Larger Truth- Former steroids dealer Curt Wenzlaff says the array of steroids Mark McGwire used was meant to make an athlete "bigger, faster,
stronger." They added Randy Wolf, but the Brewers and their pitching staff still have plenty of question marks heading into 2010. Tejada back to Baltimore. Former MVP Miguel Tejada will return to the Orioles on a one-year contract.



NCAA FOOTBALL - Scouts will be looking for Tebow to show better mechanics this week. It's time for Tim Tebow to prove the scouts wrong. He will get his shot during the Senior Bowl. Some wonder if Tebow's intangibles will offset his throwing flaws. McNeill introduced as new coach at alma mater ECU 16. Buffalo hires Dietzel to coach DBs, special teams. Minnesota hires Lions QBs coach as O. coordinator. San Jose State hires Young, three other assistants.



GOLF - Tom Watson made a birdie on the final hole to defeat Fred Couples by one stroke at the Champions Tour event in Hawaii. Bob Hope Classic- Bubba Watson and Alex Prugh share the lead after four rounds of the five-round event in Palm Springs. Abu Dhabi Championship-Martin Kaymer captured the event for the second time in three years, winning by one over Ian Poulter.



NASCAR - Have A Seat ... Please-Relax, NASCAR fans. The sky is not falling. Sure, several tracks have reduced seating capacity in this stagnant economy. But in the wacky world of sports cathedrals, sometimes less is more.



SOCCER - MLS - SECAUCUS, N.J. -- The Red Bulls will formally open their new stadium on March 20 with an exhibition match against Santos, Pele's first club. Red Bull Arena, a $200 million, 25,000-seat stadium, previously had been scheduled to open with a Major League Soccer game against the Chicago Fire on March 27.



TENNIS - Williamses net Aussie wins. Federer cruises past Hewitt into Aussie quarters. Call it delusions of grandeur. Lleyton Hewitt came in with a game plan versus Roger Federer -- one that failed miserably. Serena loses only seven points on her serve while defeating Sam Stosur. The Williams sisters win and move closer to a semifinal meeting at the Australian Open.



HORSE RACING - Homer's Odyssey Begins- Winslow Homer captured the Grade 3 Holy Bull on Saturday, the first major stakes of the year at Gulfstream Park on the Kentucky Derby trail. Jackson Bend, the favorite, was a close second.
