NASCAR - If Denny Hamlin can't go the distance in the Subway 600, he wouldn't be the first injured driver to get out of his car. A.J. Allmendinger finally has his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole, beating his old team to get the top spot Friday
for the Subway Fresh Fit 600. Kyle Busch lost his lead on a disputed restart that led to a red flag, but still managed to win the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Phoenix International Raceway on Friday night.

GOLF - It's the same Tiger Woods – at least on the course. He's tied for third at the halfway mark of the Masters. Westwood and Poulter lead, Woods 2 back. Masters 1st round ratings up 47 percent.

MMA & BOXING - All 22 fighters taking part in Saturday's "UFC 112: Invincible" event successfully made weight for the show. Today's weigh-ins took place at Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Concert Arena (at the Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island) plays host to Saturday's pay-per-view event (1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT). BOXING -Shaken by the Haitian tragedy a changed Andre Berto returns to fighting on Saturday.

SOCCER - MLS - The Red Bulls, off to a 2-0 start, face Chivas USA on Saturday as all 16 teams will play on the same day for the first time. Chivas USA dished away a conditional 2012 draft pick to Real Salt Lake, which held the discovory rights to
Dario Delgado, for the Costa Rican defender, the club announced today. Delgado will join on loan from Puntarenas FC.
