NHL PLAYOFFS - The Sharks tied their series against the Avs with a 2-1 win as Game 4 was the third straight to go into OT. Pens get 5 in 2nd, up 3-1 on Sens. Flyers beat Devils, take 3-1 lead. Wings blank Coyotes, tie series. Preds grab first 2-1 series lead. Sharks triumph in OT, tie series. Playoff television ratings up 21 percent. Capitals up 2-1 on Habs despite PP woes. The Flyers had their share of penalties, but it was the Devils' that proved costly, Jeff Carter scored two power-play goals as Philly won 4-1 to grab a 3-1 series lead. Their hopes of a third straight trip to the Stanley Cup finals fading, all the Red Wings needed was a return to Joe Louis Arena. They blanked the Coyotes 3-0 to even the series at 2-2. Sidney Crosby notches two goals and two assists, the Penguins manhandle the Senators 7-4 and go back to Pittsburgh up 3-1 with a chance to wrap up the series at home.
